North Lebanon's mountain landscape is one of the most emotionally loaded environments in the region. Cedar forests, dramatic altitude, light that changes character by the hour. The client wanted an interior that could hold its own against all of that without competing with it. The challenge was restraint in a place that demands presence, and warmth in a space surrounded by stone and altitude.

We built the interior around the view, not alongside it. Warm wood tones and understated stone accents were chosen to echo the landscape rather than contrast it. Natural light was treated as a primary material, with window placements and surface finishes calibrated to how the mountain light moves through the day. Every furnishing decision was filtered through a single question: does this belong here, or does it just look good?

A home that feels like it grew out of the mountain rather than being placed on it. The panoramic views are not decoration, they are the architecture. Inside, the space is calm, grounded, and specifically Lebanese in a way that transcends trend. Peace Among the Cedars is Studio 5 working at the intersection of place, material, and emotional precision.
