A kitchen in Greenwich, Connecticut, made for slow mornings and long family breakfasts.
See the renders ↓Walnut, all the way up
The owners wanted a kitchen with the weight and warmth of fine furniture. We designed Shaker-style cabinetry in dark walnut running to the ceiling, with glass-front display cabinets lit from inside, a wide island with upholstered stools, and a dramatic veined stone on the counters and backsplash.
Two brass pendants hang over the island, and brass hardware ties every run of cabinets together.

Details that work hard
Close views show the decisions that matter day to day: a coffee station with a built-in microwave drawer, a pot filler set into the stone behind the range, warm light under the wall cabinets, and display cabinets deep enough for everyday dishes and glassware.
